Carrier Transicold Manchester – Opens New Service Centre
17 March 2005
We are pleased to announce this week the opening of the new Service Centre for Carrier Transicold Manchester – Lynton Refrigeration. This new facility is a major investment for Steve Walsh Managing Director of Lynton Refrigeration since the company opened its doors on November 1st 1984 to carry out its first repair on transport refrigeration equipment.
Since opening in 1984 Lynton Refrigeration had its first premises at Monarch Mill, then in 1986 and became a limited company. Lynton then progressed to a new purpose built three-bay facility in Stock Lane, Chadderton in 1991, which was then later extended to five bays.
It was there in 2000 that the company joined the Carrier Transicold Dealer Network and became known as Carrier Transicold Manchester, where Steve explains “The core of our business is in service and repair, closely followed by unit installation and spare parts supply, this has effectively divided our business into three parts; Truck & Trailer, Carrier Advantage and Replacement Parts”.
Which brings us to March 2005 where Steve has this week opened this excellent new purpose designed Service Centre on Broadway Business Park just two minutes from junction 21 / M60.
