Cumbria Truck Centre Earns Service Partner Status from Carrier Transicold

Cumbria Truck Centre, part of the William Armstrong Group, has earned service partner status from Carrier Transicold , strengthening aftersales support for customers across Cumbria. As a service partner, Cumbria Truck Centre can handle the installation, repair and maintenance of Carrier Transicold transport refrigeration units. Carrier Transicold, which operates in the UK as Carrier Transicold UK, is a part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).

The Carlisle-based Cumbria Truck Centre, situated close to Junction 44 and 45 of the M6, was invited to join the network by Carrier Transicold and received the accolade after passing a stringent audit covering all aspects of the business, to which all members of the network must adhere. As an authorised service partner, Cumbria Truck Centre has access to detailed technical training and spare parts support from Carrier Transicold and has also invested in recruiting time-served transport refrigeration engineering expertise to join the team and spearhead Cumbria Truck Centre’s growth into the temperature-controlled product segment.

Cumbria Truck Centre is also a franchised commercial vehicle dealer for Isuzu Truck, Hino Truck and DFSK Vans, plus holds DVSA Authorised Testing Facility status and is an authorised tyre fitter for Hankook.
